President Kagame Joins Global Leaders at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025

On Monday, January 13, 2025, President Paul Kagame of Rwanda arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW).

The following morning, Tuesday, January 14, President Kagame will join UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other world leaders at the opening ceremony of ADSW 2025.
During the event, President Kagame will also attend the Zayed Sustainability Prize awards.

These prestigious awards honor small and medium-sized businesses, non-profits, and high schools for their innovative solutions to global challenges and their contributions to sustainability.
Throughout the week, President Kagame will meet with fellow leaders to discuss key global issues during the ADSW conference.

The ADSW brings together global leaders, business executives, scientists, innovators, and other key stakeholders. The aim is to find solutions to urgent global problems, promote energy sustainability, and drive progress for people around the world.

Themed, “The Nexus of Next. Supercharging Sustainable Progress”, the 2025 ADSW Summit will explore how to leverage advanced technologies to deliver a resilient, inclusive and prosperous future.

This year’s ADSW will focus on advancing technology for sustainable development, ensuring no one is left behind, and preparing for a more sustainable future.
